Google Skills Arcade has introduced its first swag drop of 2026: the Arcade Weather-Shield Jacket.

The jacket is part of the rewards available at the Arcade Champion Tier and Arcade Legend Tier.

Champion & Legend Tier

The Weather-Shield Jacket is available for participants who reach the following tiers:
  1. Arcade Champion Tier (95 points) — Weather-Shield Jacket + applicable Champion Tier rewards
  2. Arcade Legend Tier (120 points) — Weather-Shield Jacket + applicable Legend Tier rewards
The prize structure is designed around progressing through the Arcade tiers and accumulating points by completing eligible challenges.

The Arcade Weather-Shield Jacket

The 2026 swag drop features a lightweight weather-resistant jacket designed for everyday use and changing weather conditions.

  • Storm-ready weave: Designed to repel light rain and help protect against gusting wind.
  • Official Google Cloud branding: Features a Google Cloud logo on the left chest and the Super Cloud logo on the sleeve.
  • Weather protection: A high stand-up collar, adjustable Velcro cuffs, and a ribbed elastic hem help block drafts and retain warmth.
  • Zippered pockets: Deep zippered hand-warmer pockets provide space for everyday essentials such as a phone and keys while also helping keep hands warm.
  • Lightweight construction: Provides weather protection without the bulk associated with heavier winter jackets, allowing easier movement.

Google Skills Arcade Prize Tiers

The Google Skills Arcade reward system consists of multiple tiers. Participants progress through the tiers by earning Arcade Points through eligible challenges.
The rewards are structured around the different achievement levels:

Arcade Trooper Tier — 50 Points

The Arcade Trooper Tier represents the foundational prize level. Reaching the applicable points threshold unlocks the core Google Skills Arcade swag package.

Arcade Ranger Tier — 75 Points

The Arcade Ranger Tier is the next level of progression. Participants reaching this tier receive the applicable Ranger rewards along with the rewards associated with the preceding Trooper level, according to the program’s prize structure.

Arcade Champion Tier — 95 Points

The Arcade Champion Tier is an upper-level achievement requiring 95 points.
The 2026 Arcade Weather-Shield Jacket is included as a Champion Tier swag reward.

Arcade Legend Tier — 120 Points

The Arcade Legend Tier is the highest tier listed in the prize structure and requires 120 points.

Participants reaching the Legend Tier are eligible for the applicable Champion Tier rewards along with the exclusive rewards associated with the Legend Tier.

How the Prize Progression Works

The Arcade prize system is designed so that rewards can build as participants progress through the tiers.
In other words, moving from one tier to the next does not require choosing between the rewards from the previous tier and the new tier where the program’s cumulative prize rules apply.
However, the program announcement specifically notes an important distinction:
Arcade Trooper and Arcade Ranger prizes do not snowball into the Arcade Champion and Arcade Legend Tiers.
